Ephesians 5:2A firm believer in the fact that we are all called to be witnesses of Jesus' saving grace no matter where we are physially located, I have been blessed with opportunities to do so at home in the United States, with Christian Veterinary Mission on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona and in Haiti, and with Mission Impact.
While working in Guatemala for the last 1 ½ years, a special fondness has grown in my heart for the girls at Próximos Pasos in Santa María de Jesús. The school ministers to the whole family by providing a secure and loving environment for the students to learn more about Jesus and His love for them
They also provide tools for outreach and nuturing their families with Christian principles for discipline and daily living.
In anticipation of assisting my aging parents, I have returned to Texas, and involvement with Próximos Pasos and the other Mission Impact ministries is via administrative support implementing already onboard internet-based programs. While floating between Guatemala and Texas, a portion of each day is spent in data input, correspondence, payroll, accounting, and/or special projects.
